Extra tiny little guys
Title kind of says everything...
I've made some teeny tiny bird brooches for an exhibition coming up for Melbourne Fashion week next month. The idea is that the artists in the show are all making items in editions of ten that will be for sale from vending machines around the city. On the back of each of my birdies I've signed and numbered them out of ten which I think actually makes them look quite nice, so I might start doing that with my other bird brooches (as in making them in editions of only a certain amount and writing their number in the edition and signing them on the back). Maybe it pushes me a bit more to think of new ideas and such which I've been trying to do a bit more lately.

Yay! Thanks for the post Sarah! Whoever gets these would be so lucky - hopefully it's us...
The machines will be at a different location for each week of March, starting at Craft Victoria from 1 - 7 March, followed by Captains of Industry, Alice Euphemia and then a 'mystery spot'...
We'll post more details on the blog soon!
