Sydney I kind of forgive you...

So I'm really enjoying Sydney. Like way more than I thought I would. Ridiculous. For some reason I always thought it was a bad place, maybe because I was born in Sydney and then moved to New Zealand when I was 6 weeks old and if I had only been able to stay inside a little longer I would be a for real New Zealander. Sydney you robbed me of possible identity. But I kind of forgive you since I'm having a great time here. I only have 5 minutes internet credit left so I won't go into details right now but I just wanted to let you know about my unanticipated  birth city enjoyment.

Just before I run out of time...
PLEASE COME TO THE ART SHOW TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! I'll give you a little hug if you do come and you want a little hug.

from Sarah

(as the image suggests, Sydney has also lit (re-lit even?) a flame in my heart for Ken Done's artwork)

I have come back to Sydney from 'bleak city' as they call it, and I'm loving it, especially seeing green everywhere and being able to walk up proper hills!

Ken Done has a holiday house up here on the North Coast where we live, and one day we walked right past him while he was enjoying a coffee at a cafe. We both recognised him, I think I smiled, and he looked positively astounded that someone had recognised him.

Strange tid-bit for you ;)

P.S. enjoy Sydney, we moved away 2 1/2 years ago and I still miss it every single day and night!
